Project Vision
The Commons connects community in physical and virtual spaces for customers to create explore, inspire, and realize together.
The Commons provides access to technology, creative spaces, and digital literacy programs that empower Prince Georgians to discover their interests, providing a boost to their own personal achievement, whether a middle schooler who is bound for a STEM-focused high school or an immigrant entrepreneur.
PGCMLS will establish a network of 5 Commons that will increase access to technology education programs and services, equipment, workforce development programs and services, and certification programs for the benefit of all Prince Georgians’ personal achievement goals.

Create a community environment where unique experiences and opportunities inspire the limitless possibilities of self-expression.



Methodology
- Increase access to technology throughout Prince George’s County
- Advance opportunities for BIPOC, low income, and immigrant/refugee residents to pursue STEM and creative higher education and careers
- Improve tech and digital literacy for immigrants/refugees, English language learners, youth, and seniors
- Provide capacity for local entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners to grow their businesses by relying on PGCMLS physical spaces and equipment
