Michael B. Gannon is the Chief Operating Officer for Support Services with the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System. In that role, he has coordinated twelve major renovations of existing branches and the construction of three new facilities. He is the 2003 recipient of the Public Library Association’s Allie Beth Martin Award, and a Past President of the Maryland Library Association. Michael is a frequent presenter and trainer on the topic of library facility design and management.
Sara Mitchell is the Project Manager with the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2010. During her time at the Library, she has worked on two major renovations, the construction of a new facility, and numerous small renovation projects. She has previously held positions with general contractors as a Project Manager working on government construction contracts.
