County Council-Hosted Free Food Markets at PGCMLS
In collaboration with the offices of Prince George’s County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha (District 7) and Prince George’s County Council Member Shayla Adams-Stafford (District 5), the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System is proud to host two free grocery store spaces inside the Spauldings (District 7) and Fairmount Heights (District 5) branch libraries.
Both spaces are managed and operated by their respective County Council offices. Shopping is available by appointment only.
District 7 Community Fresh Market
The District 7 Community Fresh Market is hosted inside the small conference room at the Spauldings Branch Library. The initiative was developed and is managed by the office of Council Chair Krystal Oriadha in partnership with local food bank, The StoreHouse.
